Has a broad Yorkshire accent. Likes to have her hair done. She wears jewellery and nice skirts. Comes out with hilarious phrases. Firm but fair, she’s tough but a real sweetheart.

Quite a glamorous lady- she wears nice dresses, and has her hair done. She gets confused easily which results in arguments, but she’s actually very friendly.

He is another cheerful older gentleman who certainly likes to drink. He’s good at conversation and a bit flirtatious. Has secretly loved Harold for years.

Loves horses. No nonsense. Wears trousers and a jumper. Practical. Can be friendly and has a good sense of humour but can be difficult to get along with.

Sleeps throughout the entirety of the speed dating session. He is lovely though…when he’s not sleeping.

Is also in his 30s/40s. He’s a shorter, fatter man and wears a black suit with a waistcoat. His one job is to ring the bell to indicate when the others should move and is there to support David. Despite really wanting to do so, he barely manages this, yet keeps his cheery disposition and still seems proud of himself.

He is in his 30s/40s and is hosting the speed dating evening. He reluctantly agreed to it and didn’t really want to get involved as he knew it wouldn’t end well. He likes things to be organised and run smoothly, so he gets extremely flustered. David pretends he’s fine by smiling through the pain. George isn’t helping.
